In order to start playing NeoPets, you'll need a few things
- a user ID
- a password
- an e-mail account

It's better to have an ID that is not your real name. NeoPets prefers that the ID and e-mail account do not have the same name. If you are under 13 years old, you will need your parent or guardian's permission to participate in some Neopian activities.
[edit] Signing up
If you use a certain type of link to sign up, the person whose account it "referred" you will get some credit. Here are some links you can use and the ID that will get credit:
