Neopoints (NP) are the main virtual currency in Neopia. There are many ways to earn NP, as well as many ways to use or spend them. The primary way to obtain them is through games, and secondarily through activities like the stock market, selling items, and official contests. Neopoints can also be bought online from third party sites, however this is against Neopets' terms and conditions and will result in your account being permanently frozen. Begging or scamming to gain money is also a surefire way of getting iced. It is highly suggested you stick to legal ways of getting NP. Neopoints can be recieved (or lost) through a Random Event too.
Neopoints can be stored in the National Neopian Bank, from which you will be able to collect interest each day.

- The maximum number of Neopoints anyone can have is 2,147,483,647.
