Neopets began way back in 1997 in a dingy little computer room by Adam Powell and Donna Williams. The site was launched on 15th November 1999. Originally it was meant for "bored college students who missed having a pet".
I made my first account in 2004 as gamergirl09. I returned in 2008 as xxfallensnowangelxx and have been a loyal user ever since! I never imagined I would play Neopets again, but it's so fun when you have free time. And yes, you are allowed to have four pets; Premium users can, in fact, now have five pets.
I joined Neopets in 2001 after my sister told me about how fun it was. Of course, I never wrote down my password (username was FimFoo1000) and now my account is lost forever... -.-
Oh... I got confused, I thought when neopets said every account now has to have 3 pets, I thought they ment EVERY account. It turns out that some people can now only have 3 pets!
