Kaus are a species on Neopets that resemble cows on Earth.
Kau day is 19th June. There have been over 4.5 million Kaus created which makes up around 1.8% of Neopias pet Population.
Kaus were originally known as Macy Gray. Macy Grays had poofy red hair and dark skin, and looked pretty well human.

- The default Kau avatar looks like this.
- IF you have an item in your inventory with the words "Crystal ball" and view the look-up of a Pink Kau, you will receive the Kau - Fortune Teller Avatar. Crystal Ball Table is the cheapest item, and you can view a Pink Kau here, or here. If you switch your language to italian you can use an item with "snowglobe" in the name. Geraptiku Snowglobe will set you back just 1NP.
- If you view the look-up of a Starry Kau, you will receive the Kau - Starry Avatar. You can try here, or here.
- If you use a Morphing Potion on your pet you will receive the Magical Kauvara Avatar.
- If you are lucky enough to restock a "Kau Sundae" from the Chocolate Factory here, you will receive the Chocolate Avatar.
