You can also create your own templates. After you create the page Template:XXX, using the command {{XXX}} will include that content in your current page. So, if you have something that needs to be included on many other pages, you might want to use a template.

Some of the templates on NeoPets Guild are "stub" and "PLH".

[edit] Variables

Use {{SITENAME}} to see the current Wikicity. For instance, {{SITENAME}} on this site prints out as NeoPets Guild.

It is useful to be able to put comments in formatting commands to remind you and help others in future editing.


One format that works: <!-- comment goes here - don't use a double dash within the comment -->

[edit] Table of Contents

A table of contents is automatically created for pages with three or more wiki headers (the ones created with =).

To turn off the table of contents on a page, add __NOTOC__.

The command __TOC__ can be used to specify the placement of the table of contents. It can be used within the text or placed inside a <div> command to specify the location or look.
