Members of the PurpleLightHouse guild at NeoPets came up with many of the original ideas that we are trying to implement here on the Guilds Wikia. We hope the site will evolve into something even better than those original ideas.... Other guilds are welcome to contribute and to create other pages and activities on this wiki site. 
[edit] PLH HistoryThe PurpleLightHouse (PLH) guild was founded October 27th 2004 (by RJ). It was created because an earlier guild, Soup Faerie Helpers, was shutting down. We (PLH) are carrying on some of the traditions started by the Soup Faerie Helpers. Some of those traditions are
[edit] Guild ActivitiesIn addition to the activities described above in the history section, PLH collects hints for playing NeoPets, has a shop for donations and is starting poetry and news sections on this wiki. See more PLH Activities. [edit] MembersLike all NeoPet guilds, membership is voluntary. Some guilds are "private", but the PurpleLightHouse is open to anyone who would like to join. A link to the guild is included at the bottom of this page. [edit] RolesNeoPets allows guilds to create roles for their members. There are 5 guild council positions, and each has its own role. There there are 5 other roles for the rest of the members. Right now those roles are defined in the PLH as HornOperator, PurplePainter and Lens Polisher. They are purple, and the lighthouse is built of them. Because they are special, an active member can trade a volcanic rock for a valuable item from the guild trades. [edit] Guild AccountThe guild account is purple_light_house. You can donate items to the guild by giving them to purple_light_house. Other ways to donate are to purchase items (especially overpriced Volcanic Rocks and sailboats) or to trade with the account. RJ is one of the members who maintains this account. It is used only for the guild. Because a user is not allowed to use extra accounts to get the daily freebies (see Help:Helpful_hints, RJ cannot use this account for those things. The guild account raises funds through its PLH guild shop and donations. Guild members decide how to use the guild funds. Please add to the suggestions below:
