Basic Gruslens are orange with black stripes, but they can also come in the following varieties: Black, Blue, Cloud, Faerie, Green, Grey, Maraquan, Mutant, Pink, Pirate, Rainbow, Sketch, Snow, Spotted, and White.

A Gruslen is a wolf-like creature, with orange fur and black stripes. It has a yellow-ish belly, sabre teeth, four legs and a long, bushy tail. It is described by TNT (The Neopets Team) as: "Gruslens may appear to be cute and harmless but if you anger them you could be in for a visit to the Neopian Hospital."
