Roo Island

Roo Island is a subsector of Neopia Central in Neopia. Blumaroos are native to this region.

Site Description[]

"Roo Island is a small island off the coast of Neopia Central. It is inhabited mostly by, yes, you guessed it - Blumaroos. These fun-loving Neopets can always be seen bouncing around with a smile on their face, and if your King was a gentle soul who loved playing games, and made every day a holiday, you'd be smiling too!"

Altador Cup[]

Every year, Roo Island puts forward a team for the Altador Cup. They were the champions of Altador Cup III (2008), as well as placing 2nd in Altador Cup II (2007), and 4th in Altador Cup V (2010).

Dedicated fans are known as Rooligans.

Revamp[]

Main article: Daily Dare 2012

During Daily Dare 2012, Roo Island was slowly infested with Unidentified Petpetpets (aka. Strange Bugs) from the revamped Games Room until they covered the whole island. The King then went missing, with Lulu and co. later discovering that he was finding a solution to the infestation. With the help from Lulu and other Neopians, nearly 7,000,000 bugs were rounded up and eliminated, with King Roo ordering that Roo Island be remodeled from the ground up, with most of the Neopia Central's Art Centre facilities and Games Room moving here in order to prevent more bugs from creeping in.

With Neopia Central's final revamp, the entrance to Roo Island was added in place of the now-obsolete Art Centre.
