The Elephante ("ellie-fant") is a winged elephant-like Neopet. As a general rule, Elephantes are are kind and generous pets that enjoy travelling and playing competitive games with their friends. Their tiny wings seem to be more ornamental than not, but the pet is at least capable of getting off the ground for a brief moment.[1]
Elephantes are 41cm (1.35ft) on average, ironically making them one of the smaller Neopets compared to their real-world counterparts.[2]
Elephantes are not limited edition, meaning they can be created year-round.
Site description: "Bursting with cuteness and a charitable spirit, Elephantes are almost impossible to miss—quite literally! These gentle giants stand out with their long trunk and tiny wings, which may not enable them to fly, but help for hovering across short distances (a pretty neat ability)!"[3]

Previous Versions[]
The original Elephante was quadrupedal with plain-looking ears and a dotted tail. Later, the Elephante was redrawn with its iconic head adornment and its ears were changed to more so resemble a real-life Asian elephant. (For a short time, its jewel had a smiley face that changed emotion along with the pet.)[4]
Following conversion, the head adornment became a removable clothing item,[5] and the pet's toothy grin was replaced with a subtle smile.[6]
