The Orb was a magical item with little known about it.
History[]
Not much is known about this strange artifact, as it was only featured in the Champions of Meridell plot.
The Orb brought prosperity to Darigan Citadel, and later Meridell after being stolen. It's absence caused Darigan Citadel to become cursed and corrupted.
Eventually, The Orb was stolen back, but corrupted Lord Darigan's heart instead of healing the land. When Lord Darigan was defeated, The Orb was broken into two, destroying it, and preventing further war over The Orb's power.
Powers[]
At first it seemed that it brought bounty onto whatever land in which it dwelled, allowing it to prosper, but then cursed that land if taken away. However, this does not make sense, as it did not heal Darigan Citadel once returned, nor did it curse Meridell once taken.
The Gallery of Evil refers to the orb working it's "foul magic" on Lord Darigan once returned, suggesting the item may have been of evil origins from the beginning, perhaps even created to manipulate the two kingdoms.
It is unknown if the orb has any connections to The Three.
