Korbats (CORE-bat) are friendly and outgoing bat-like Neopets, despite their spooky appearance. They have keen senses of smell and hearing, and sleep upside down like real-world bats.
Korbats are 70cm on average, making them one of the larger Neopets.[2]
Korbats are not limited edition, meaning they can be created year-round.

Previous Versions[]
The original Korbat had a more realistic appearance, hanging upside-down, having much more visible fangs, smaller ears, and fluffy hair. A redesign made the Korbat look more cheerful and energetic, with proper arms, bigger ears and a pointed tail.[4] (Up until Year 9, the Starry Korbat's "circle pose" strangely differed from the rest, as it was shown hanging from its circle frame, giving Neopians an idea of how strong its tail must have been.[5])
