Ugga-ugga! Tyrannian is a prehistoric colour for Neopets and Petpets.

Tyrannian pets are essentially their earliest versions of their current period selves, coming from the primordial land of Tyrannia. Some of these pets' traits include protruding horns, fuzzy collars, spots, tusks/saber teeth, and a tough demeanor.

How to Obtain[]

To get a Tyrannian Neopet, the player will need a Tyrannian Paint Brush (which can be won from the Wheel of Monotony), Morphing Potion, access to the Lab Ray, Species Change Premium perk, Holiday Dream Neopet Giveaway, and Rainbow Fountain. Players may also be able to adopt or trade for one.

Tyrannian Petpets are available through the Tyrannian Petpet Paint Brush or Petpet Lab Ray.

Clothing[]

Tyrannian Neopets can come with garb common to depictions of cavemen in media (fur cloths, bones, spears, etc.).

A previously unreleased design for the Tyrannian Buzz was finally released on January 12, 2022 after being requested by ardent Neopets fans.^[1]
The Tyrannian Chomby was touched up a day after it was introduced on Chomby Day, 2022, giving it more a generalized appearance to fit in more with the other Chomby colours, as well as making it easier to customise.^[2]
