Royal is a regal colour for Neopets and Petpets.

The design that a Royal pet can take on depends on their gender (with the exception of the occasional Lab Ray zap).

How to Obtain

To obtain a Royal pet, the player will need a Royal Paint Brush (available at the Hidden Tower (here)), Morphing Potion, access to the Species Change Premium perk, Holiday Dream Neopet Giveaway, or Rainbow Fountain. Players may also be able to adopt or trade for one.

To get an Royal Petpet, the player will need a Royal Petpet Paint Brush (which is also available at the Hidden Tower (here)) or access to the Petpet Lab Ray. Players may also be able to get one via the Marketplace, Auction House, or Trading Post.
