Dragoyle Hunting was an event that Nanci (the Ye Olde Petpets shopkeeper) held to celebrate the Discovery of Meridell in 2018 from July 30th-August 5th, 2018.
Players had to visit Meridell to activate the event, click 'Okay!' when Nanci shows below the map - this would also activate the Meridell site theme. Once the player refreshes the page, one of the gates below Nanci will open, showing a Dragoyle - the player must then click 'I'm Ready!' to begin the hunt!
Dragoyles of all colours would then begin to appear at locations all around Meridell, with players having to click on them to try and capture them, but there was a catch - players would only be able to catch the right colour of Dragoyle that Nanci released. Each Dragoyle was only available for one Neopian day, with the first day lasting until July 31st, 11:59 NST.

Players would also be randomly awarded with a Dragoyle Box that could be opened with a Jewel Encrusted Key bought from the NC Mall.
