Abilities

Each NeoPet has levels of certain abilities. The abilities include endurance, also known as health (like "hit points" or "life points" in some games), strength, defense, move (also known as agility), intelligence and fishing.

Each ability is measured at a certain number. Some have word descriptions as well. For instance, a defense level of 9 is called "armoured".

You can raise the level of your pet's abilities in several ways:

sometimes visitors to Coltzan's Shrine are blessed with new abilities, and

random events.

Then, there are the magical abilities granted by the faeries when they are released from a bottle.

Increased abilities will help your pet at games like Defenders of Neopia or at the Battledome.
